A guided 4x4 expedition to the Arenal volcano region: rainforest tracks, thermal hot springs, hidden waterfalls and a night camping under the stars at the foot of the volcano.

Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    San José → Arenal

    Pickup at the airport area, scenic drive across the central valley, lunch in a local restaurant, off-road entry to the Arenal area, hot springs in the afternoon, camp setup and sunset BBQ.

  2. Day 2

    Waterfall trail → Return

    Morning hike to a hidden waterfall, river ford with the convoy, lunch with a view of the volcano, return to San José by late afternoon.
