Driver requirements

Primary driver must be at least 23 years old, hold a valid driver's license for at least 2 years and present a credit card in their name for the security deposit. Additional drivers must be registered at pickup.

Booking & payment

A 50% deposit confirms your reservation. The remaining 50% is paid at pickup along with a refundable security deposit on credit card. We accept credit card, PayPal and bank transfer.

Pickup & return

Pickup is at our location near SJO airport. Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level and clean. Late returns are charged at one additional day per started 4-hour block.

Use of the vehicle

The vehicle is for off-road and on-road travel within Costa Rica. Crossing borders is not allowed. No smoking inside the vehicle. Pets are accepted case-by-case with extra cleaning deposit.

Damages & traffic violations

Damages beyond standard wear, missing accessories or unpaid traffic violations are charged to the security deposit.

Liability & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica. Disputes are subject to the courts of San José.
